Your first meeting
Your first meeting is a 1-hour initial family law consultation with Amelia Leyden, Accredited Specialist in Family Law, for a fixed fee of $250. You can meet us in person at our Ringwood office or online by video.
In that hour, we take the time to understand your situation, answer your questions and give you preliminary information about your options, the likely process, time frames and costs.
Fixed fees are available for many of our services, so you know the cost upfront. We don’t like unexpected legal bills any more than you do. Fees for other matters are based on the time spent, and we explain how they will work before we start. For some property settlement matters, you can pay at the end by obtaining a line of credit through JustFund, who offer loans to pay legal fees.
